Very Accurate!

First I want to start off by saying that I am a woman (straight). I originally purchased this for myself (thanks to the Valentine's Day discount, lol) out of curiosity. Not all men are right when it comes to women, and not all women are right when it comes to men; this is due to a lack of education/false information (cosmo anyone?). I was very impressed by this book. It was written in a *guide* format and was very blunt. Bassil didn't beat around the bush about what the average woman wants and constantly reminded the reader how to keep her happy during all stages of your relationship with her. [Most] women don't want to be coddled 24/7 or showered with praise at all times of the day and night, but it is really nice to feel appreciated: little reminders that you're still physically and emotionally attracted to us. Bassil, IMO, does a very nice job on listing various ways to keep the spark alive after you've been together for a while as well as how to 'woo' a woman.

Whether you are a newbie in the game of love or a 'pro,' I think that every guy will benefit from this guide. Not everyone knows everything and not all women are the same, but we do share a lot of similarities. :)

Excellent coverage of fundamentals

This book provides a very balanced coverage on relationships, covering many different viewpoints/stages. Reviews hazards and ideal scenarios through plausible examples. Well written, provides excellent motivation and explanations to help the reader recognize the importance and value of the "common sense" principles in this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I like to read books that deal with the understanding of women and yeah it does include the occasional cosmo. The book was well written and a easy read. It helps provide a foundation while also providing the information required to build and tailor the ideas to your personal situation. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Killing Reagan is the fifth book in the highly popular “Killing” series penned by Fox News contributor Bill O’Reilly, and collaborator Martin Dugard. As in the other “Killing” books, O’Reilly and Dugard crafted a sort of a mini-biography, culling snippets from the main character’s life, and wrapping them around the “killing” of the main character. Killing Reagan is different from its four predecessor books. The reason is that the main character, President Ronald Reagan, dies not in the hands of another individual or individuals, but because of natural causes.

Indeed, if not for sheer luck and the skilled and timely intervention of medical professionals, President Reagan may have been the third U.S. President to have been assassinated in office since the Civil war, and the fourth to die while in office during the same period. The assassination attempt by the schizophrenic John Hinckley took place almost 25 years before Reagan passed away. There is no indication that the attempt had anything to do with his death. At 94 years old, death can be ascribed to almost any condition, although Reagan was already suffering from Alzheimer’s for about 10 years until his death.

The assassination itself seems to be an afterthought, given the relatively lightweight nature of the would-be Reagan killer, Hinckley. Hinckley’s act, because it was unsuccessful, is almost an afterthought, especially if set against the backdrop of some of the fascinating events in Reagan’s life and presidency. Killing Reagan almost seems like a mini-biography of Ronald Reagan woven within the framework of a botched assassination attempt by a relatively uninteresting antagonist.

Given that there are at least ten full biographies of Reagan, including an autobiography released ten years after he left office, the “killing” angle appears to be a fresh one.

This book is for people who would like a distilled version of the significant amount of detail that the authors have managed to pack in some 250 pages. Where necessary, I have combined chapters to create a more coherent chronological narrative, rather than go on a confusing flashbacks and flash forwards for the sake of summarization. There are hundreds of names, places, and events spanning some 7 decades, and these are not always laid out in chronological order. Could Not Put This Book Down

I am just halfway through with this book and I cannot wait to get back to it. In one sitting, really, I could not put it down. I have never seen a format as is used here. It is like a "heads up" to what is coming in the next few chapters. Very interesting to say the least.

This ISN"T the book Killing Reagan - I thought it was, but no. This is nothing but a high level synopsis of the book. I quit reading and threw it away so I wouldn't take the sizzle out of reading the REAL book.

I wrote this book in order to better understand the marriages and sexual practices of a unique group of people who choose to engage in sexual behaviors that most societies have condemned and labeled as taboo. Along the way, I learned a tremendous amount about female and male sexuality, and about the integral ingredients of healthy marriages. This book is not about my own sexuality, any more than it is about the sexuality of all men and women, and all husbands and wives. Whether you are interested in this lifestyle or not, this book will change the way you look at sexuality within (and without) a marriage.

Men Who Want to be Cuckolded and Their Complying Partners

This book is actually inaccurately titled, as it is the men who convince their partners to explore multiple sexual partners, with the provision that the men watch or experience vicariously (through photographs, film, or partner's description) the details of these extra-primary-relationship couplings. Thus, the book should be titled Insatiable Husbands rather than Insatiable Wives. In any event, this is a fascinating introduction to an important sexual phenomenon, which is qualitatively different from conventional understanding of what is derisively referred to as "wife swapping," which is informatively explored in Gould's "The Lifestyle."

The book's content is informative, provocative, and even penchant. However, the organization of this material is somewhat disjointed. The chapters could be sequenced in a more logical manner so that understanding builds systematically from one major idea to the next. The chapters on history and literature, for instance, might be presented earlier in the text so that the reader achieves a cultural and historical grounding in the phenomenon before considering its current manifestations and pragmatics.

I am also a bit disappointed that the references are spotty. Most of the key references are documented in the bibliography, but not all. I depend on bibliographies to locate additional pertinent information, and it is a bit of a nuisance to do so on only skeletal in-text references.

However, at the very least this is an interesting, much needed contribution to the sexuality literature and is certainly accessible to the general reader as well as an important reference for specialists.

Great research, but poorly structured

This book was recommended to me by friends. It has a lot of great research, but the structure is confusing. There is repetition in different paragraphs (so that I thought I'd already read them) and I was left with the sense that the cultures are not as homogenous or as easily separated as he implies. I feel that his background as a psychologist has poorly equipped him for what is essentially an anthropological work.

That said. It covers an extensive range of topics and information and is probably worth struggling through for that reason.
