Awesome Book on London Cemeteries

This is an outstanding book for someone who wants to visit London off of the "beaten path." It has descriptions of all the cemeteries in and around London along with who is buried in the cemeteries. What I found upon reading this book is that it offers very interesting historical perspectives, along with nice photographs. Architectural elements are also covered. If you plan on visiting cemeteries and have particular wishes/purposes (visiting historical figures/persons, studying funereal art and architecture etc.), reading this book will help you maximize your experience. Highgate (the large and famous one) is a very different place and experience than smaller and lesser known cemeteries, but all have a lot to offer.
It's a great way to spend Saturday afternoons reading and/or exploring.

A very useful book!

The small size of this book makes it easy to carry around as you explore London's cemeteries. The author has a nice writing style; very informative and interesting. There are also some good photos, and pertinent information is well-presented. Not only is the book useful, but I learned a lot from reading it.
